Health Advice and Information on Best Practices:
Every time a person travels, it is important to pay attention to hygiene. We encourage travelers to follow the security schemes as outlined by the Centers for Disease Control:
Wash your hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water. It is suggested that a 20 second wash is appropriate.
Maintain social distancing. Stay at least 6 feet from anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. The virus enters the body through these three areas.
Practice respiratory hygiene. Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or folded tissues when you cough or sneeze. Then throw away the used tissue immediately.
If you have a fever, cough, and shortness of breath, seek medical attention.
FELS has created a document in Spanish and English to help us show you some simple things we can do to protect you, your co-workers and your family during this time. Please click here for more information.
